Destiny Consultants Ltd is a Ugandan consultancy specialising in tax, accounting and financial management. Since we opened on 1 July 2009, we have helped businesses meet their tax obligations, reduce their tax risk and recover tax they have overpaid. What sets Destiny apart is our team. Our consultants have years of experience in tax practice, including time at leading international accounting firms. We understand how tax law is written and how it is applied in practice. This lets us anticipate the questions the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) will ask and prepare our clients to answer them. We have built strong, professional working relationships with the tax authorities, and we use them to resolve our clients’ issues quickly and fairly.

URA has identified Destiny Consultants as a key partner in tax administration. Our staff are regularly invited by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and by URA to deliver public lectures on tax.

To date we have recovered tax and secured VAT refunds of more than UGX 30 billion for our clients. That is money returned to their businesses, to fund operations, growth and jobs.
